In order to insure a reasonable understanding of the article, personal references and appeals to authority are not included.
The declaration of the number of sexual partners is a product of the openness of Modernity. The interested reader may read the article himself.

I saw the narcissism and arrested emotional development all around me, and in me. I recognized the obsession with youth and beauty that drove their fantasies and lusts and knew that once I entered my thirties, the thrill of being wanted would quickly come to an end.
Plato writes that the unexamined life is not worth living. It is good to be aware, but it is better to be self aware.
I cringed at the epidemic of perverse sexual behaviors commonly practiced and celebrated by gay culture and wanted nothing to do with them.
It is possible to be in a culture or subculture and not participate. I don't celebrate Saint Patrick's Day, because I am neither Irish nor Roman Catholic, but on Saint George's Day I party like its 1999. I don't participate in everything Americans do because of the accident of my birth.
Such behaviors were so obviously perverse. Simple anatomical design declared it. A man was designed to interact sexually with a woman. That's the design. God created a man and a woman to become one flesh in a lifelong covenant of love (i.e., "marriage"), and to be fruitful and multiply when possible.
Mr. Foster is hedging when he adds "when possible" to Genesis. One supposes that certain individuals are not "designed" correctly and are infertile.
God invented marriage.
Assuming facts not in evidence.
Even cultures that do not know Him have followed that design from the beginning.
Unfortunately, not all cultures adhered to the one man/one woman rule as an ideal of marriage.
There is no ambiguity about His design nor His description of it in the Scriptures.
We believe there is either an ambiguity or a flaw in the design, as men have nipples.
Indeed, every departure from that model is universally condemned and forbidden by Him...
The only laws that applies to Gentiles are the Noahide laws- don't eat blood, don't kill and avoid fornication. Unfortunately, fornication is not defined. Saint Paul completely addressed the Law and Grace. "All things are lawful for me" as the Apostle writes.
Having same-sex desires is a great trial—there is no doubt about it. The feelings have as great an intensity as those found in the alcoholic for alcohol, the drug addict for drugs, the smoker for nicotine.
Replacing "same sex" shows the absurdity of the statement:
"Having heterosexual desires is a great trial—there is no doubt about it. The feelings have as great an intensity as those found in the alcoholic for alcohol, the drug addict for drugs, the smoker for nicotine."
"Having heterosexual desires is a great trial—there is no doubt about it. The feelings have as great an intensity as those found in the alcoholic for alcohol, the drug addict for drugs, the smoker for nicotine."
[It] seems unfair to the natural mind that God would allow us to have such intense desires yet not allow us to act on them.
Philosophers, in general, and Rousseau and de Sade, in particular, would agree with the above statement. Alas, the social contract prevents us from killing, raping, and pillaging...
The idea floated by so-called "gay theology" that God created people to be homosexual (i.e., that He is the cause for such desires) is as ridiculous for the homosexual as it is for the drug addict.
This is an interesting premise. However, homosexual behavior is found in lower animals, and hence natural, whereas drugs are man made and unnatural.
The Scriptures are clear about what God designed and what He desires.
It is clear that God demands sacrifices in the Torah, but in Isaiah, He tires of sacrifices. His final sacrifice is Himself to Himself to change the Law that He created.
It does no good to pretend that it is good and natural and holy.
Like Socrates, I don't know what good or holy is, but I know what is natural.
Statistics overflow with evidence that homosexual sex causes damage to body, soul and spirit.
I look forward to the CDC report on damage to the soul and spirit or will the CDC shrug and leave that responsibility to the Roman Church?
In fact, an entire cottage industry of scientific study and medical care has arisen from the proliferation of gay sex in our modern culture.
Anytime Modern Culture is mentioned, I become a careful reader.
Because active homosexuals are trying to find something through gay relationships that can never be found there.
The unexamined life...
The happiness that they seek...
If certain people are seeking happiness from a one night stand, then they will probably lead unfilled lives.
All that to say—the term "gay marriage" is an oxymoron. It is an invention of broken man...
No comment needed.
Even the misnamed "gay Christian"—those who practice homosexuality without repentance and therefore are not Christian
In Modernism, Christianity has become a believe system, like being a Republican or Democrat. This is not historically accurate as people are made Christians with the anointing of oil, not a confession of faith.
To invent a form of marriage... is insanity and can only lead to the destruction of those involved, and... the society that allows it to happen.
No comment needed
But inventing and sanctioning homosexual marriages is a....consequent disaster.

Although Mr. Foster and I do not agree on all the particulars of the subject matter, in this instance, Philosophy and Christianity make strange bedfellows. However, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and, therefore, we are in agreement with the outcome of this Modern experiment that even Wiemar Germany did not attempt: an absolute and unqualified disaster.
