Sin, the Law, and the Commandment
Rom 3:20Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin hamartia.
For until the law sin hamartia was in the world: but sin hamartia is not imputed when there is no law.13
Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin hamartia abounded, grace did much more abound: Rom 5:13, 20
For sin hamartia shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Rom 6:14
What shall we say then? Is the law sin hamartia? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin hamartia, but by the law:for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.7 But sin hamartia, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin hamartia was dead.8 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin hamartia revived, and I died.9 For sin hamartia, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.11 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin hamartia, that it might appear sin hamartia, working death in me by that which is good; that sin hamartia by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. Rom 7:7-9, 11, 13
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful hamartia flesh, and for sin hamartia, condemned sin hamartia in the flesh: Rom 8:3
The inference is that the body of the Son was a simultude of sinful flesh.
The sting of death is sin hamartia; and the strength of sin hamartia is the law. 1Co 15:56

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin hamartia. Rom 7:25
Who gave himself [Jesus Christ, vs. 1,3] for our sins hamartia, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: Gal 1:4
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin hamartia, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. Gal 3:22

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin hamartia, that grace may abound?1 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin hamartia, live any longer therein?2 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin hamartia might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin hamartia.6 For he that is dead is freed from sin hamartia.7 For in that he died, he died unto sin hamartia once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.10 Let not sin hamartia therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.12 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin hamartia: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Rom 6:1-2, 6-7,10, 12-13
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin hamartia unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?16 Being then made free from sin hamartia, ye became the servants of righteousness.18 But now being made free from sin hamartia, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Rom 6:16, 18, 22
For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins hamartia, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.5 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin hamartia.14 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin hamartia that dwelleth in me.17 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin hamartia that dwelleth in me.20 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin hamartia which is in my members. Rom 7:5, 14, 17, 20, 23
For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins hamartia. Rom 11:27

For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness dikaiosynē.3 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness dikaiosynē.5 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness dikaiosynē without works,6 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness dikaiosynē.9 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness dikaiosynē of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness dikaiosynē might be imputed unto them also:11 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness dikaiosynē of faith.13And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness dikaiosynē. Rom 4:3,5-6, 9, 11, 13, 22

Rom 6:13, 16, 18-20
For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness dikaiosynē: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, dikaiosynē have attained to righteousness dikaiosynē, even the righteousness dikaiosynē which is of faith. But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness dikaiosynē, hath not attained to the law of righteousness dikaiosynē. Rom 9:28, 30-31
For Moses describeth the righteousness dikaiosynē which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.5 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness dikaiosynē; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10:5, 10

Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness dikaiosynē should have been by the law. Gal 3:21

For until the law sin hamartia was in the world: but sin hamartia is not imputed when there is no law.13

For without the law sin hamartia was dead.8 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin hamartia revived, and I died.9 For sin hamartia, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.11 Was then that which is good made death unto me? Not in circumcision peritomē, but in uncircumcision.10 And he received the sign of circumcision peritomē, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:11 And the father of circumcision peritomē to them who are not of the circumcision peritomē only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.
