Lead Me from Death to Immortality

why i am skeptical
It seems that the majority of people have never encountered those who lie. While there are multiple reasons to deceive, it seems that people would become more prudent and cautious in their dealing with other people. Are people so naïve? We must answer in the affirmative and must also concede that people must enjoy the experience of being deceived, lest they develop more critical and questioning attitude towards others.
It seems incredible to me that people are so trusting. It is as though people remain naïve regardless of their experiences. It is like the exist, but do not live-the living dead- mindless. Can we be too critical? [Res ipsa loquitur, sed quid in Infernos dicit] If skepticism is the handmaiden of intelligence, then a critical mind is its progeny. We are surprised when we find any men of high intelligence among the homo religiosus. That fact alone, should put to rest any acquiescence that Luther was well versed in Hebrew, Greek, Latin, and German. Great minds do not engage in the other worldly ideas or impractical concepts found in religion any more than they would to return to the cave- for what do we care of their praise?
Perhaps the worst aspect of the masses or of their homo religiosus is their intractable tendencies and unwillingness to understand more than their petty worldview. We don’t ask for agreement, although agreement would not be irrational, we only ask that there are other paths or ways or methods. Workers in the field of philosophy or the occult are predestined to be alone, but not lonely. There must be something that predisposes some to question all things, whether in heaven or under the earth or especially in books. We may misinterpret nature, but she never lies, unfortunately we can not say the same for authors. The questioning of the occultist is not the questioning of a skeptic or the nihilist, there will be answers, even if the answers are not beautiful, but terrible. We do not look for the monsters or evil and so much time has elapsed that we don’t recall if they found us, or we them. However in the end, we have become what we want.
This act may not be conscious, yet we are compelled, forced along to seeks facts and the real nature of our existence. We must be fearless in our pursuit of truth, while we realize that he goal may remain elusive, at least in the short term. The loneliness we experience is not inherent to or in ourselves, but the standards of the world that we have unknowingly allowed into our world.-”The world beguiled us”. This feeling of being alone, the fear of being alone, is the influence of the heard, their fear of being alone. It does not have its genesis in our morality. For proof we look to our childhood- occupations like research scientists are not careers for people who define themselves in terms of others. Those who define themselves in terms of people have no identity in and of themselves. Our world and their world couldn’t be more antithetical. If we have difficulty accepting their naivete, then we can appreciate the difference when we explore their motivations vis a vis their friends and family members.
We have no natural affinity for friends or family, as these are accidents of history. We can not regard accidents or vicissitudes of fate as possessing value- any value must be created by those who value them. We rightly remain suspect of their motivations and values.
