The unnatural symbols such as the square and compass, plum line and broken column can have a variety of interpretations and none of them are correct.
If one were to state that the broken column represents "lost antiquity", i.e. the time before Christianity, and created viable interpretations for the remaining symbols that creates a coherent meaning in toto, this exegesis could NOT be incorrect. It might sound odd and bizarre, but it would not be incorrect.
The volume of Sacred Law could symbolize any book, the Bible or the Koran. If the creator of those degrees had in mind, for example, the Talmud, then the rest of the unnatural symbols must be explained with that reference in mind.
