I am known to respond to queries of what I do for fun with the now cliche line: "I had fun once, but I didn't enjoy it". I found the people to be friendly, accommodating and enjoyable (did I mention this event was not held in Terre Haute?).
Over the weekend, I attended Indiana Comic Con as the Occult Adviser and Official Tarot Card reader for Patterns Optional. There were over 15,000 in attendance and I would like to say that they were in line for over 3 hours to see yours truly. I am known to respond to queries of what I do for fun with the now cliche line: "I had fun once, but I didn't enjoy it". I found the people to be friendly, accommodating and enjoyable (did I mention this event was not held in Terre Haute?). I become so enthusiastic that at one point I yelled "Tardis, can I take your picture?" as she passed the booth. I assume that the attendees want to be addressed in this manner. This has not been confirmed. The Tardis, the Doctor and a Weeping Angel. Stay calm and don't blink. I also noted the overwhelming number of Geminis, Aquairians and Libras that attended. I look forward to reading a paper explaining why the Air Signs are attracted to this type of event. The Doctor with a sonic screwdriver. The event finished on Sunday which was the full moon. This may explain the crazy happenings leading up to the closing ceremonies. To protect the guilty and over enthusiastic person or persons from embarrassment and/or legal proceedings, not all events need to be recorded. Apprentice Sarah Louise tempting Fate at a gas station in Brazil, Indiana. I said "Should you light up before you pump the gas?". I look forward to Indy Pop Con that will be held May 30 to June 1, 2014 and encourage like minded individuals to participate, if for only one day.
