The Final Essay

The Transvaluation of All Values

The science of esoteric writing involves putting eternal truths in the mouths of children, fools and women and the art of esoteric writing is to convince the reader that these unpleasant views are not the authors. In Atlas Shrugged Ayn Rand has succeeded as seen through the eyes of Dr. Robert Stadler. Nothing has causes.
This is correct from a quantum perspective.
The reasonable mind is powerless in convincing an irrational mind. People are not swayed by reason. No further explanation is needed. The irrational works, the rational does not.
At the speech in Iowa, what would the rational mind do? Go against the government polices? Denounce the country and the leadership? At every point in the story the reader is disappointed with Robert Stadler.
Yet, we are never told what actions he should have taken.
John's decision to quit the factory was reasonable. But to tear the country apart by taking men of ability only increases the misery.
Midas living secluded is acceptable. Unfortunately, when one critically looks at the characters the only difference is that one group is proactive and the other group is reactive.
Stadler does the best in the situations he finds himself based on the available information. Leaving the university to head the State Science Institute, for example. Dr Stadler final act of going to Iowas in order to control the sound device is reasonable in order to survive. How couldhe have know other people had the thought of it also and the ensuing result?
The proactive characters want to tear the world apart and the reactive characters want to hold the world together.
Clearly the blame should be laid at the feet of the proactive group.
Capitalism, who main goal is to accumulate more capital than is needed for survival or even a comfortable living, is irrational and, therefore successful. Francisco's sham argument about being traders of value for value can not hold water. If true, there could not be surplus capital and /or profit. (Even Marx confuses himself on this point.) Clearly, what transpires, to Francisco's chagrin is
Buyer = Seller
In Reality
Buyer<Seller
Item price= item +markup (profit)
Traders cannot engage in profit, but sellers can. Traders can not take advantage of price/ value disparities. Sellers can.
Additionally, even though Marx says explicitly that the buyers are not exploited, a little thought will reveal the truth in this matter.
Is it more likely that a capitalist will exploit a handful of workers or all the public that buys his goods?
Also. Nike shoes that sell for $200 a pair that are made in the orient. Are we to believe those kids should be making $180 for each pair made? i think not- Therefore, the buyer is being exploited.
The rational hamburger stand will only sell 2,000 burgers a day. If this goal happens at 5pm, the workers will stay until regular closing hours. If they were to leave early, the owner would unduly profit by not paying the full wages for the day.
This "rational Burger Stand" would be less successful compared to its capitalist and irrational competitors, even though all expenses and a reasonable profit are to be accounted for in the 2,000 burger daily limit.
I have shown that the irrational will defeat the rational. Ayn Rand's inner circle have accomplished "irrational exuberance" in an Internet, housing and student loan bubble and that is the extent of their success.
As one approaches the zero, the nothing, the void, the more success one can expect.
As death is the standard of this universe, should we expect another goal?
Ayn's rant concerning need being the claim.
If ability is the standard, the idea makes no sense, since need(the lack) does not exist.
The person in a serious vehicular accident needs a hospital, the healthy person does not. Need, the void, can be the only claim. And it logically flows that need can only be fulfilled by those of ability. One needs a home and only a carpenter can build a house. Need is filled by ability.
What is Ayn trying to do with her sham arguments and morality and ideas?
Subverting the mind is their only goal.
An ancient conspiracy with no leader and only one purpose.
Where in this universe do we find life and success and rational inquiry?
This is only found on earth, and the lone exception tests the rule.
