introduction
“Fornication” is defined as “sexual intercourse between people not married to each other” and is properly distinguished from “adultery”, which is defined as “voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a person who is not his or her spouse”.
There are thirty six occurrences of the word “fornication” in the King James Biblical version and thirty two are found in the New Testament. Of these, eleven are found in the book of Revelation and three are located in the Gospels. Although the word "fornication" only occurs on four occasions in the Old Testament, there are overwhelming examples of obscenity that are to be understood as fornication.
Although it is unexpected that the word "fornication" is rarely found in the Old Testament, there are multiple sexual prohibitions that are not explicitly described by the author as fornication. The Old Testament Law is explicit regarding what sexual activities are acceptable and those that are not. Therefore, it is not surprising that Saint Paul emphatically repeats the avoidance of forbidden behaviors, however, it is startling that the editors of the King James Biblical version are not always consistent both in their translations and in the corresponding usage of English words.
In conclusion to this part, everyone knows fornication is immoral- the Jews, who copy the Torah before adulthood and the Gentiles, who have the law written on their hearts [Romans 2:15].

The most frequent Greek word under consideration is Strong’s Number G4202 [πορνεία, porneia], a feminine noun which occurs twenty six times and is consistently translated as “fornication”.
Strong’s Number G4202 is understood as “harlotry (including adultery and incest); figuratively, idolatry:—fornication” and “properly” refers to “illicit sexual intercourse in general” and is derived from Strong’s Number G4203.

Our interpretation of the translation is that the Jews [8:22] accuse Jesus' mother of "fornication", not adultery, possibly hinting that Jesus' mother was not married at conception. Extra-biblical sources name the father, Pantera, who was a Roman soldier. If the translated word was "adultery", then the question of how the Jews would know that Jesus' mother was unfaithful is brought to our attention. It is reasonable to conclude that it was common knowledge among the Jews was that Jesus was the result of unfaithfulness. It is common in the disputes between the Jews and Jesus in the fourth gospel that Jesus ignores the accusation [8:42].
[The Gentile converts must] abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, G4202 and from things strangled, and from blood. -Acts 15:20

Verse twenty is an inexact reception of verses twenty nine and twenty five. Although the Biblical text is explicit on there is only a total of four prohibitions for Gentile converts, certain modern Christians claim various additional behaviors found in the law as mandatory, otherwise said, the freedom is Christ is replaced by the yoke of the law.

There are seven verses from the book of Revelation. The last five verses concern the Whore of Babylon who inhabits a city built on seven hills and trades with seafaring merchants [17:9; 18:17, 19]. Several cities, including Terre Haute, Indiana, are known, or claimed, to be originally founded on seven hills. However, a proper understanding of the repeated emphasis on shipping in the text limits possible candidates to maritime towns, precluding either Rome, Italy; Baghdad, Iraq; or Moscow, Russia, as viable considerations for metaphorical Whore of Babylon.
G4203
Strong’s Number G4203 [πορνεύω, porneuō] is a verb, occurs on eight occasions, and is translated as “commit fornication" (7 times) and "commit" (once). Strong’s Number G4203 means “to act the harlot, i.e. (literally) indulge unlawful lust (of either sex), or (figuratively) practise idolatry:—commit (fornication)” and is derived from Strong’s Number G4202.

Strong’s Number G4204 [πόρνη, pornē] is a feminine noun meaning “a strumpet; figuratively, an idolater:—harlot, whore” and “properly a woman who sells her body for sexual uses” and is derived from Strong’s Number G4205.
[Verily] I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots G4204 go into the kingdom of God before you. -Matthew 21:31

Rahab is justified by faith in the book of Hebrews, while she is justified by works according to Saint James. Although both writers agree that Rahab helped the spies, the authors are in disagreement if this specific action should be understood as an example of "faith" or of "works".

Strong’s Number G4205 [πόρνος, pornos] is a masculine noun translated as "fornicator" (5 times) and "whoremonger" (5 times). Strong's Number G4205 is understood as “a (male) prostitute (as venal), i.e. (by analogy) a debauchee (libertine):—fornicator, whoremonger” and is derived from Strong’s Number G407.
Thayer’s Lexicon defines G4205 as “a man who prostitutes his body to another's lust for hire, a male prostitute” and, by extension, “universally, a man who indulges in unlawful sexual intercourse, a fornicator.”

Saint Paul repeatedly warns the reader to avoid fornicators, yet, even he acknowledges this is impossible, unless one leaves the cosmos [1 Corinthians 5:10].

Throughout his mission to the Gentiles, Saint Paul repeatedly stresses the importance of faith in Christ and, now, he emphasizes that those individuals without the proper behavior will inherit neither the kingdom of God nor the kingdom of Christ. The gospels reiterate the Old Testament Law and Jesus teaches that if one divorces without infidelity, then the spouses remain married and, if remarried, commit adultery. The Roman Church understands this as a divine revelation consistent with Natural Law, whereas the Orthodox Church allows divorce and remarriage.

Saint James highlights the main failure of attempting to adhere to the 613 Old Testament commandments- the omission or commission of a single act during one's lifetime and one is a transgressor of the whole law. These individuals who strive to follow the law are in a sustained state of concern of failing the entire law, from either not doing something one should do, or doing something one should not do. Otherwise said, constant anxiety leads to neuroses.
Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery G3431 with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. -Revelation 2:22

Strong’s Number G3432 [μοιχός, moichos] is a masculine noun which is consistently translated as “adulterer” and is derived from Strong’s Number G3431.

Strong’s Number G3429 [μοιχάω, moichaō] is a verb translated as “commit adultery” on the six ocassions found in the New Testament and is derived from Strong’s Number G3432.
But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: G3429 and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. G3429 -Matthew 5:32

Strong’s Number G766 [ἀσέλγεια, aselgeia] is a feminine noun and is translated as "lasciviousness"(6 times), "wantonness" (twice), and "filthy" (once).

Saint Peter accuses false prophets and false teachers that use both fascination and lasciviousness to corrupt others. Saint Peter uses the terms "liberty" and "bondage" in the same verse.
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. -Romans 8:21 Interestingly, Saint Paul, similar to Saint Peter, uses the terms "liberty" and "bondage" in the same verse in two epistles on three occasions. Saint Paul also speaks of "false brethren".

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, G766 and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. -Jude 1:4
Along with Saint Peter, Saint Jude describes those who convert grace into lasciviousness as "ungodly men". Saint Jude provides two clues to the possible identity of one of the men. The individual in question denies there is one Lord God, which we understand to mean they believe in several gods, teach polytheism, or both. The individual also turns the salvation of grace into wantonness. From these two indications, we speculate Saint Jude is referring to Simon Magus as described in extra-Biblical sources.
G2965
Strong’s Number G2965 [κύων, kyōn] is a masculine noun and is consistently translated as “dog”, however, the term can be metaphorically understood as “a man of impure mind, an impudent man”.
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, G2965 … -Matthew 7:6
[The] dogs G2965 came and licked his sores. -Luke 16:21
Beware of dogs, G2965 beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. -Philippians 3:2-3
The usage of G2965 in the book of Philemon is likely a metaphor, however, from the context one cannot conclude if it refers to one possessing an impure mind, an impudent man, or another meaning. Saint Paul warns against the "concision", or those who are circumcised, as he is the Apostle to the Gentiles [Romans 11:13, Galatians 2:8].

Strong’s Number G3120 [μαλακός, malakos] is an adjective translated as "soft" (3 times) and "effeminate" (once). Thayer’s Lexicon adds: “Like the Latin mollis, metaphorically, and in a bad sense: effeminate, of a catamite, a male who submits his body to unnatural lewdness…”
[A] man clothed in soft G3120 raiment? behold, they that wear soft G3120 clothing are in kings' houses. -Matthew 11:8
But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft G3120 raiment? -Luke 7:25

The editors of the King James Biblical version translate G3120 as "effeminate" which agrees with Thayer's Lexicon.
